Gatorade & DC Comics League of Captains
League of Captains was a limited edition Gatorade label design that elevated NFL superstars to the level of comic book superheroes. Artists at DC Comics illustrated the athletes and custom typography was done by a design team at Tether, Inc. I worked production on these tricky bottles by optimizing the background image (seen in the detail images below) and 28oz and 32oz labels for print, edited the custom typography so that it could be trapped into the background and player image, and added some extra leg to The Blender, Cam Newton illustration.
